MONSTERS AND VICTIMS

by Charlie Bondhus

Building on the Gothic convention of the "found manuscript," the plot unfolds through a series of electronic documents written by two different "authors."  A rumination on the nature of violence, complicity, victimhood, and the impact of digital reality on "actual reality," Monsters and Victims is both a thought-provoking text and a highly entertaining thriller.

Charlie Bondhus has published two books of poetry--What We Have Learned to Love and How the Boy Might See It--both winning awards.  He has poetry in a number of magazines and holds an M.F.A. in Creative Writing and a Ph.D. in literature from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
